​David Bowie transcended time, art, and the constant shifting court of public opinion. He became influential to a myriad of people ranging from the UK Prime Minister to Kanye West. Since his death, Bowie fans have erected tributes that focus on Bowie as a fashion icon and multi-media persona. However, Fringe Immersive wants delves deeper into the subconscious. His final album, “Blackstar,” focuses on Bowie’s final months on earth and how he copes with the deterioration of his mind and body. Starman: Homecoming focuses on the macabre of David Bowie’s life through fictional characters based on the songs and movies he has performed.

           

Starman: Homecoming combines immersive theatre and linear narrative. Evocative of Bowie and the Islip Art Museum, this performance is ambitious and modern.

This event will have approximately 45 minutes of walking with minor sitting. There are no bathroom breaks during the experience. We will begin on the hour exactly at 7p with the last time slot at 11pm sharp. Seating is limited per hour. Please be on time. If you arrive early please wait outside until you are brought through the front door. Remain silent during the experience unless spoken to. You must come with one other person! Tickets are sold at $70 which is good for 2 people. Please be aware this show has adult themes and is not suggested for anyone under the age of 13.

No tickets will be sold at the door. When you arrive for you prepaid time slot, do not walk in. Someone will greet you outside 10 minutes prior the hour slot. All rules stated above still apply.
